Surfs Up!
Kids are ready for some warm weather, sun and sand. They built their own wave and surf boards to hang 10!
Curriculum Connections

begin to demonstrate control of large muscles with and without equipment
(this is only to name a few)

| Some children used shorter boards and were able to slide down the wave! |

| Some children used longer boards, but discovered they couldn't slide as far since their board got beached pretty fast |

| They used a lot of balance to stay on the board and recognized to lean forward on their front leg to make the surf board move |

| They were very good about taking turns and watching their fellow surfers space so no one got pulled under the wave |
