A Few Favorite Things...

Hot chocolate painting, smells yummy!

How many snowflakes stuck to your mittens?

Printing high frequency words, making sentences!

Great cutting exercise.

Getting a little bit messy is all part of the inquiry.

Shared reading, tracking words, recognition of high frequency words.

If we cant go outside, who says we cant bring the outside in? Snow in the sensory table!

The boys have found a new manipulative to build with. These are pick axes, to break away the fire.

A ship has been built to get away from the others.

More chocolately mess, this center was a hit!

The children really benefited from some cutting instruction, to pull your chair in straight, tuck your elbows in, start from the bottom and thumb is up.

Printing words gave the children the feeling of accomplishment when they could sound out and read the words.
